What versions of FileMaker do you support?
We currently only host FileMaker databases versions 7.0 - 9.0. However, if you have a database that is older than version 7.0, we can convert your database to the latest version of FileMaker.
How many users can access my database at the same time?
FileMaker servers limit how many simultaneous connections are allowed to the server. Therefore, we have to limit how many connections to each database so we can maintain quality of service for each client. The number of simultaeous is determined by your hosting plan.
How secure is your FileMaker hosting?
We take a number of steps to insure that your data is safe.

1. All of our FileMaker servers are behind hardware firewalls.
2. All of our FileMaker servers have antivirus software which is updated daily.
3. Root access to each FileMaker server is limited to only a few experienced Triple8 employees.
4. All servers are located in our secure data center which can only be accessed by a limited number of Triple8 personnel.
5. Our data center has 24 hour on sight security personnel.

Finally, the most important step in securing your data is by using a strong username and password on each of your databases. Even though Triple8 personnel will have access to the FileMaker server you are hosted on, we cannot open your database without a username and password.
Do you offer SSL connections on FileMaker Remote and IWP hosting?
We have several FileMaker servers setup with SSL certificates which will allow you to access your database through an encrypted connection. Connections using both Network Sharing and Instant Web Publishing are secure. If you require secure access, we can easily move your database to one of our secure servers.
Do you offer FileMaker design and programming services?
Do to our large customer base and time constraints, we can only offer minimal programming and development assistance for FileMaker databases. This includes such items as adding a data field or user to your database, or assisting you with setting up remote hosting services.
How long does it take to set up FileMaker hosting?
After you sign up for FileMaker hosting on our website, you will receive an email with instructions on how to upload your FileMaker database to our servers. You will then need to prepare your database for remote hosting or IWP hosting and upload it. Once uploaded, you should be able to access it immediately. If you are familiar with setting up your database for remote access, the whole process can be completed in 5-10 minutes.

How often will you backup my FileMaker database?
Our FileMaker servers will automatically make a backup of your database each night and store it locally on the same server. Once the local backup is complete, additional backup software will compress and encrypt your databases and move them to a different backup server. Archived copies of your databases will then be stored for 10 days on our backup server.
What happens after my free trial?
After your 30-day free trial, you will receive an email informing you that your trial period is ending. If your wish to continue hosting, simply follow the instructions in the email to set up payment. Otherwise, your trial account will end.
What types of billing options are available?
For monthly services, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Wire Transfer, eCheck, or check. We can either charge a credit card each month or send you an invoice. Your account can be setup to be billed monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Accounts billed yearly will receive one month of free service.
What are your contract terms? How long do I have to sign up for?
All Triple8 services are month to month. You can cancel at anytime. See our Terms of Service for more information.
