Spammers often send email directly to secondary and tertiary email servers, bypassing your primary server. Because of this, it is imperative to have a backup email server with robust Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus protection.

Triple8's MX Backup includes 2 separate backup email servers with Advanced Anti-Spam / Anti-Virus Defense. Should your primary email server ever go offline, email will flow through our Spam Firewalls to our backup email servers. When your primary server comes back online, our backup email servers will forward any email received back to your primary server.

Set Up

Set up is quick and easy. Simply sign up for our free trial, then send an email to support@triple8.net with the domain(s) you would like to have backed up, including the IP Address or FQDM (fully qualified domain name) of your existing email server. We will then set up our Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus firewalls to filter and back up your email. When complete, we will send you and email with detailed instructions on changing your dns records to backup your existing email server.
